Period 2 Debate

In class today a heated debate was started about who is to blame for the murders in the novel Frankenstein. Some argued it was Victor Frankenstein's fault for not taking responsibility for his actions. Others say it was the monster's fault because he physically committed the crimes. B.R. brought up an interesting point about murderers. Do we blame their parents or them? B.T. brought up that children grow up without nurture all the time and they do not necessarily end up like the monster. What do you think? Who can we blame and why?
