Obama's Address to the Public

Don't forget tonight President Obama is going to address the public about this Syria business. If you watch the speech and write a paper about the main points and your point of view on the speech you will receive extra credit. 8:00! I know I will tune in to see what he is planning for our country in the future. Whether you agree or disagree, I encourage you to stay informed!

Scholastic Arts & Writing Awards opens for submissions on September 16, 2013!!! There are a wide range of categories. English 4, you may be interested in submitting your fictional short stories. There is a category for just that!! You all did so well that I encourage you to seek out awards for your writings. I would be more than willing to sit down with any of you after school and work on submissions. Remember the final step in the writing process is presentation. BE PROUD OF YOUR WORK!
