English 3 Speeches

We have been working on finding our 3 sources this week.  Make sure you add each source to the Works Cited Page and you find three quotes from each source to incorporate into your outline.  The final speeches will be presented on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20.  The speech is 100 points.  Please see me during study hall days for help!

English III

We started our speeches on Friday.  If you were absent you need to see me on Monday before school.  Think about your speech topics and get the "ums" and "uhs" out of your system now!

English IV

We begin a new unit on Monday.  Make sure you are finishing up your literary analysis this week for homework.  The paper is due Friday, March 13.  It needs to be three pages with 4 quotes from the two texts.  Don't forget a Works Cited Page and MLA format.

Advanced Composition Information

Remember your two college application essays are due on Wednesday, March 11.  Find a creative angle and tell a unique story.  Avoid the common sayings that we talking about in class.
