Advanced Composition

Weebly due tomorrow!!!!! Final research paper due Friday!!!! Extra credit due Friday!

English 3

Today you will have an open book check on chapters 25-33 after your ACT for a grade.  Wednesday we will be discussing themes in the novel and how they are developed throughout the characters.  On Thursday we will do group work analyzing the end of the novel.  Friday will be a review and Monday is the Huck Finn test.  Tuesday and Wednesday of next week will be a review for the final.

English 4

We will be reading Cantos 31 and 32 in class today.  You need to read 33 for homework.  Tomorrow (Weds) we will finish the book and do an article study on the 4 rings of the 9th circle.  Thursday you will receive a study guide and Friday is the test.  Start practicing writing out the levels of Dante's Inferno.  Your extra credit is also due on Friday.  All of your grades should be in by Monday so you will know if you need to take the final.  Next week will be a review.  Final is on Friday 12/19.

We start our final paper of the year on Monday.  It will be a research paper about Realism in the arts.  Make sure you full understand Realism.  Consider what you are interested in- photography, literature, music, etc. It will be a 100 point paper.

The Teach-a-Class projects are coming to an end!  Period 7- your test over all of the projects will be Friday, October 17.  Period 8- your test will be Thursday, October 23.  Both classes will receive a study guide and class time the day before the test to review all of the topics.  We begin our career research paper Monday, October 27!
